ROS: Origin is an independent, fan-made revival project created by fans of the original Rules of Survival. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or officially connected to the original developers, publishers, or rights holders, and it must not be presented as an official release.
Pre-registering reserves nothing. It signs you up for project updates, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Any rewards, milestones, or release dates shown on the site are goals rather than promises, and may change or be withdrawn. See the Privacy policy for how your email is handled.
Optional cosmetic content may be offered for purchase — outfits, weapon skins, emotes, and the in-game currency used to buy them. Nothing sold affects gameplay balance. Items are a licence to use them inside the game; they are not property and have no cash value. The total, including any tax, is shown before you confirm, and payments are handled by our payment providers and platform stores — we never see or store your full card details.
Statutory rights come first: where local consumer law gives you a right to cancel or refund that we cannot exclude, that law applies. Billing questions go to Contact@ObsidianGames.net with “Billing” in the subject line — contact us before opening a dispute, and unauthorised charges will be investigated. Deleting your account does not refund purchases.
Original artwork, writing, code, and branding created by Obsidian Games for this project belong to us and our contributors. All trademarks, names, logos, characters, and other intellectual property associated with the original game remain the property of their respective owners, and are referenced here only to describe the project. If you are a rights holder with a concern, see Copyright & takedown — valid notices are actioned, not argued.
If you send us feedback, bug reports, or ideas, you allow us to use them in the project without payment or obligation, and you confirm they are yours to share. We may remove content or restrict access in our community spaces if these terms are broken. Third-party platforms we link to have their own terms.
The site and any builds we share are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, and may be unavailable, incomplete, or discontinued. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Obsidian Games and its team are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
We may update these terms as the project develops; the date at the top will change and significant updates will be announced in the community channels. Questions go to Contact@ObsidianGames.net. This page is information, not legal advice.
